Improved tomato juice medium for the detection of wine-spoiling microorganisms, i.e. Leuconostoc sp., Lactobacillus sp. and Pediococcus sp..
The growth of yeasts and mould is inhibited by Actidione (cycloheximide). Under anaerobic conditions also Acetobacter sp. can be detected.
Membrane filter: Green with 0.45µm pore size
Recommended incubation condition: 2-5 days at 30°C, anaerobic
