Medium selective for the detection of E. coli and fecal coliforms from water, food and other samples.
By preincubation (6 hours at 25°C) sublethally damaged bacteria can also be detected. E. coli form yellow colonies.
Membrane filter: White with 0.45µm pore size
Recommended incubation condition: 18-24 hours at 44°C
