Standard TTC-NPS
Medium for colony count from water and waste water samples, for pure culture and for use as a basic medium for additives (e.g. antibiotics, serum, etc.) to the demin. water to wet the pad.
Due to the added Triphenyltetrazoliumchloride (TTC) all colonies develop reddish because of the formation of Formazan from TTC, which facilitates the optical evaluation.
Membrane filter: Green with 0.45µm pore size
Recommended incubation condition: 2-3 days at 20°C or 48 hours at 30°C
