OGY-NPS
Medium for selective detection of yeasts and moulds from food, pharmaceutical and clinical samples.
Yeasts form white to beige coloured, sometimes reddish (e.g. Rhodotorula) colonies. Microcolonies develop within 10-12 hours. At the beginning mould colonies are white with clearly visible aerial mycelium (velvet-like) and become yellowish to greenish or even brownish to black when forming conidia. Accompanying bacteria are inhibited by Oxytetracyclin.
Membrane filter: Black with 0.60µm pore size
Recommended incubation condition: 2-3 days at 25-30°C
